Last week, the TSC Auto-ID Technology and Printronix Auto ID teams had the chance to attend this year’s ASSEMBLY Show from Oct. 24 – Oct. 26, 2017, in Rosemont, Ill.
The theme of the show was “The Road to Manufacturing Success,” and the show certainly was a success!
Featuring educational sessions, a dynamic keynote speaker, and two networking receptions, the ASSEMBLY Show provided numerous opportunities to meet with manufacturing engineers, managers, and many other industry professionals.
Many attendees came by the TSC and Printronix Auto ID booth (#1514) to see our latest products and best-of-breed offerings.
Our teams unveiled evolutionary new technology for the first time as well.
As we mentioned in our pre-show post about a month ago, Printronix Auto ID was planning on displaying their groundbreaking technology: a unique solution unlike anything else on the market.
The solution unveiled was the ODV-2DV, which will be available in Q1 of 2018.
“The ASSEMBLY Show was the perfect opportunity to introduce the new ODV-2D barcode Printer Validator, as well as show off some of our industrial and desktop products,” said Printronix Auto ID Senior Product Manager David Hawkes.
“One universal truth in the label industry is that there will always be a demand for more information, more accuracy, and higher productivity without increasing the label size. On top of that, there is a flood of new regulations hitting the market that will make specific label formats and barcode validation a legal requirement,” he continued.
“So, our introduction of the ODV-2D Barcode Printer Validator is hitting the market at the perfect time,” Hawkes stated. “Major manufacturers are getting ahead of the regulations by introducing the efficiency and accuracy that the ODV-2D offers. They kept us busy from the beginning to the end of the show.”
