TSC Introduces Compliant Printer Device Types for Use With SAP® Applications

We’re excited to announce that we’ve introduced new printer device types for SAP® applications.

Since July 2013, we have participated in the SAP Printer Vendor program as a silver-level participant and have developed device types that work with all TSC printers. These device types, which are available for download today from TSC, enable users to print documents from within their SAP applications.

Supported printers include 203 dpi, 300 dpi, and 600 dpi resolution models, and the device types support both Unicode and non-Unicode label printing applications.

We developed these device types in compliance with the requirements defined in the SAP Printer Vendor program. With these device types, TSC customers can expect rapid integration of label printing into environments running SAP solutions.

Printer models now supported by the TSC device types include all desktop, industrial and portable printers.

We are using TSC TTP 342E Pro printers and need to print labels from SAP.
    1. Which device type should we use?
    2. Does it support SAP Smartforms and ADOBEFORMS for labels
    3. We also need to print Chineese characters on the label so what all drivers we need to install on our printer and which device type to be used within SAP.

    Thanks….Aman Gupta
